Building Capability Through Diversity for Public Sector Delivery

The Challenge

 

To win and deliver significant government contracts, Cognizant was required to demonstrate an authentic commitment to diversity and deploy diverse delivery teams. They needed to rapidly source and train underrepresented technologists to meet strict public sector bid requirements.

The Solution

 

CodeVerse ran a targeted 4-week Python engineering bootcamp coincided with Black History Month. Leveraging partners like Coding Black Females and Niyo, they sourced 20 candidates. 5 high-potential graduates were selected and deployed as ServiceNow Developers and Business Analysts.

  • Successful Integration: 100% of the deployed consultants transitioned into delivery teams for clients like NHS Digital.
